Maybe it's a good thing in today's climate, but the online share trading system we've just developed for Clerical Medical doesn't actually permit the real buying and selling of stocks and shares. Although the share price and other data we feed in is real enough, the web-based system is actually designed for internal use by CM's own financial advisors. Working in teams, and competing against each other, each team of advisors is given starting funds and invited to first build, then manage, an equity portfolio, entirely online. With daily trading updates and any number of custom on-screen reports and dynamic graphs available, our 'fantasy game' has already proven a huge hit in just the first few days. We can't give you a URL of course, it's a closed system, but it's a good end-to-end example of how we build highly advanced, completely bespoke online applications. Progressively more Clerical Medical people are now going to be enrolled into the game, such is its educational and training value.
